Administrators in Greenfield Community Unit School District 10 earn an average of $79,332 per year, ranking 761st out of 864 districts in the state, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 6.3% higher than in 2014 and 4.7% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 26.1% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Greene County school district enrolled 453 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 151 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
