Carrollton Community Unit School District 1 Board of Education met Feb. 4.

Agenda Item: NEW BUSINESS

Summary of discussion item: State of Illinois Matching Grant

Approval is need to move forward with the State of Illinois Matching Grant. The State of Illinois will match up to $50,000 with this Grant. Superintendent Halwachs stated this grant will be used for the abatement at the grade school.

Motion to: Approve State of Illinois Matching Grant.

Citizens: Opportunity for Visitors to Address the School Board Concerning Any Topic:

Lisa Wade – Board Member – Lisa stated that our sports programs are losing money because we have people with sports passes that are only good for regular season games refusing to pay admission to get into tournaments and post season games. Lisa feels that we need to address this issue.
