Beardstown Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.
We are aware that some people are having difficulty getting through to our office by phone due to our increased phone traffic. We apologize for this inconvenience and encourage you to continue to call our office as you will eventually get through. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
** If you are 65 and older: If you have already spoken with someone or left a voicemail regarding being added to the COVID vaccine list, you do not need to call back. Our staff is working diligently to handle all of the vaccine calls and will be reaching out to you as the vaccine becomes available to schedule your appointment.
