Report: Illini West School District spent $13,117 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Illini West High School District 307 was up 43.5 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Hancock County school district spent $9,138 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,117 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 382 to 301 students over the same period.

Illini West's spending in 2019-20 was 9.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
