The special meeting of the Carthage E.S.D. #317 Board of Education was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Board President Jake Burling.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Roll call: Drew Dickerson/present; Jason Gunning/present; Amy Graham/present; Jacob Murphy/present; Luke Burling/present; Robert Menn/present; Dillon Darbyshire/present.
There were no individuals wishing to speak to the Board of Education.
It was moved by Mr. Menn and seconded by Mr. Dickerson to enter into executive session at 6:02 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the district.
5ILCS 120/2 (C) (1). Roll call: Mr. Menn/yes; Mr. Dickerson/yes; Mr. Gunning/yes; Mr. Murphy/yes; Mrs. Graham/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mr. Darbyshire/yes. Motion carried 7-0.
It was moved by Mr. Dickerson and seconded by Mr. Menn to exit executive session at 10:22 p.m. Roll call: Mr. Menn/yes; Mr. Dickerson/yes; Mr. Gunning/yes; Mr. Murphy/yes; Mrs. Graham/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mr. Darbyshire/yes. Motion carried 7-0.
It was moved by Mr. Murphy and seconded by Mr. Menn to adjourn the meeting at 10:23 p.m. Roll call: Mr. Menn/yes; Mr. Dickerson/yes; Mr. Gunning/yes; Mr. Murphy/yes; Mrs. Graham/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mr. Darbyshire/yes. Motion carried 7-0.
