City of Bushnell City Council met June 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

Mayor Wilt called the meeting to order

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.

Roll Call

Ald. Lisa Webb -P          Ald. Stacey Allen –P 

Ald. Donna Coates -P    Ald. Greg Yocum –P 

Ald. Kim Havens –P       Ald. Mike Burkholder –P 

Ald. David Norton -A       Ald. Mike Baker -P 

City Clerk Teresa Ebbert - P   Police Chief Chaney Ferguson-A

Mayor Robin Wilt – P              Utility Manager Joe Fosdyck -A

Treasurer Betsy Rench –P      Street Superintendent David Raymond-A

City Attorney Nick Tinsman-A

*City Treasurer Betsy Rench stated that Myers & Myers will be here on the week of the 10th to do the audit.

Consent Agenda

Ald. Yocum made a motion to approve the consent agenda which includes.

1. Approval of Minutes from June 19, 2023

2. Accept May Financial report

Ald. Coates seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with the results as follows:

Ald. Coates “aye”         Ald. Yocum “aye”

Ald. Webb “aye”           Ald. Allen “aye”

Ald. Havens “aye”        Ald. Burkholder “aye”

Ald. Norton absent        Ald. Baker “aye”

Where upon Mayor Wilt declared the motion carried.

Ad hoc (Mayor’s Report)

*Mayor Wilt stated everything was lined up for fireworks

Personnel/Finance/Budget

*The council agreed by general consensus to give Personnel & Finance power to act to approve & pay bills after their meeting on the 29th.

Public Works

Ald. Webb made a motion to accept the bid from Trotter for $223,00 for the façade project. Ald. Havens seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with the results as follows:

Ald. Webb “aye”            Ald. Yocum “aye”

Ald. Havens “aye”         Ald. Allen “aye”

Ald. Norton absent        Ald. Baker “aye”

Ald. Burkholder “aye”    Ald. Coates “aye”

Where upon Mayor Wilt declared the motion carried.

Police/Liquor/ESDA

*Ald. Baker stated the Police truck has been measured and the stickers are ordered.

Real Estate/Parks/Recreation

*Ald. Webb stated they replaced 3 fans in the fitness room and the piece of equipment that was broke has been repaired. Webb also stated they would be putting up all new signage.

*Nothing to report

*Nothing to report

Attorney’s Report/Ordinances & Resolutions

*Nothing to report

Ald. Allen made a motion to Adjourn

Meeting was adjourned at 6:30
