A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois, was held on Thursday, September 07, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held in the Council Room at the Pittsfield City all at 215 N Monroe Street. The following officers were present: Mayor Gary Mendenhall, City Clerk Ann Moffit, and Alderman Bill Grimsley, Kevin Ketchum, Paul Lennon, Robert Ritchart, Beth White, and Kevin Wombles. Alderman Chris Little and Robert Wilson were absent.
Mayor Mendenhall presided.
Alderman Wombles advised that the City held a bid opening for the 2023 General Maintenance Motor Fuel Tax Chip Seal Maintenance. Proposals were received from Diamond Construction in the amount of $131,692.90 and from Illinois Valley Paving in the amount of $89,931.88.
Alderman Wombles moved to accept the proposal from Illinois Valley Paving for the Chip Seal Maintenance, for various locations, in the amount of $89,931.88 to be paid with Motor Fuel Tax Funds. Alderwoman White seconded the motion.

The motion carried.
Alderman Ketchum moved to adjourn this meeting at 6:02 p.m.
