On Saturday, January 27, former Waggener High School standout, JJ Kalakon’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 50-64 in their NCAA D1 game against the Morehead State Eagles.

The game took place in Morehead, Kentucky. This was the first matchup against the Morehead State Eagles this season.

The Western Illinois Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, February 1 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Charles, Missouri.
