On Tuesday, December 5, former Oxnard High School standout, Jasmine Nichols’ current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 78-75 in their NCAA D1 game against the Omaha Mavericks.

The game took place in Macomb, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Omaha Mavericks this season.

The Western Illinois Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, December 10 at 2 p.m. in Kansas City, Missouri.
