On Wednesday, February 21, former Saugus High School standout Bella Alvarez’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I game against the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils.

The game took place in Itta Bena, Mississippi. This was their second matchup against the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, February 23 at 12:30 p.m. in Murray, Kentucky against Toledo Rockets.
