The Western Illinois University women's tennis team has been recognized by the International Tennis Association (ITA) for their academic achievements during the 2023-24 season. The Leathernecks achieved a cumulative team grade point average of 3.77, with all nine players maintaining at least a 3.335 GPA, earning them All-Academic Team honors.

To qualify for All-Academic status, teams must have a collective GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Additionally, seven members of the team were named ITA Scholar-Athletes. This designation requires student-athletes to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above for the academic year. The honored individuals are Lorena Castellanos, Aubrey Brumbaugh, Agatha Carbonell, Aina Cortina-Pou, Paige Grice, Lara Rossetto Diniz de Souza, and Maria Rybka.

In total, 1,573 Division I women's student-athletes received ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition in 2024, and 255 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
