Five Western Illinois football players named to preseason All Big South-OVC team

MACOMB, Ill. – The Western Illinois football team received recognition from Phil Steele/Draftscout.com with five players named to the 2024 Phil Steele/Draftscout.com Preseason All Big South-OVC Team on Friday.

The Leathernecks had two linebackers named to the second team: Juan DelaCruz and Ryan Crandall.

Additionally, Western Illinois had three players named to the third team: wide receiver Demari Davis, offensive lineman Isaiah Foote, and cornerback Willie Jones.

The Leathernecks will open their season on August 31 against Northern Illinois.
