The Western Illinois University women's tennis program has announced its 2024-25 season schedule, which includes several high-level matches.

The Leathernecks will participate in three events during the fall before resuming play in January for the winter-spring season.

Western Illinois opens the season on September 6-7 at Ohio Valley Conference rival SIUE for the SIUE Invite. Two weeks later, they will compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Individual Meet on September 21-22 in Evansville, Indiana. The fall portion of the schedule concludes on October 6 with a home match against Quincy.

The winter/spring season begins with road games at Indiana University at Indianapolis on January 25 and Illinois State on January 26.

Western Illinois then hosts Bradley (February 1) and Northern Iowa (February 7) in Galesburg. They face Northern Illinois in DeKalb on February 8 and return to host Creighton in Galesburg on February 15.

Following the Creighton match, the Leathernecks embark on several road trips starting with St. Louis (February 21) and Missouri (February 22). They then travel to Wisconsin to play Milwaukee (March 1) and Marquette (March 2).

The longest road trip of the season takes them to Hilton Head, South Carolina over Spring Break for the PTR Spring Tennis Fest from March 8-14.

On their return from South Carolina, WIU begins OVC play against Southern Indiana on March 15. After a week off, they visit SEMO on March 22.

In Macomb, WIU hosts Kansas City (March 28), SIUE (March 29), and Eastern Illinois (April 5). The regular season ends with matches at Lindenwood (April 6) and Tennessee State at home (April 12).

The postseason OVC Meet is scheduled for April 18-20 in St. Louis.
