The WIU Women's Golf team will compete at Oak Hills Country Club in Omaha, Nebraska, for the Big O Classic on Monday, September 30, and Tuesday, October 1. This marks their third tournament of the season, with two more remaining in the fall schedule.

In their previous outing at the Brittany Kelly Classic in Yorktown, Indiana, the Leathernecks finished 10th as a team. They recorded a team score of 300 in the final round, tying their best round this fall. The team aims to build on this performance and secure a top-10 finish at the Big O Classic.

Olivia Kerr led WIU at the Brittany Kelly Classic with a T14 finish (+7). The fifth-year player from Australia seeks her fifth top-20 finish during her tenure at WIU.

The competition includes teams from Creighton, Omaha, Lindenwood, Western Illinois, Iowa Western Community College, Drury, Prairie View A&M, and Nebraska.

Oak Hills Country Club features a par-72 course with a total yardage of 6,051. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 9 AM on Monday for 36 holes. On Tuesday, participants will play 18 holes starting at 9 AM from both the front and back nines.
