WIU men's golf prepares for Summit League Championship in Nebraska

Western Illinois University's men's golf team is set to compete in the Summit League Championship starting April 30. The tournament will take place at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska, spanning three days and covering 54 holes.

In their last outing, the Leathernecks participated in the Hawkeye Invitation in Iowa City, where they secured a 12th-place finish with a combined score of 905 over three rounds. Dylan Cervantes led the team with an individual score of 219.

The championship will see teams including Denver, Kansas City, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State, and St. Thomas competing for the title. All participants will begin from the first tee on Sunday. Tee times are yet to be announced.
