Western Illinois University's men's golf team is set to compete in The Big Texan tournament in Edinburg, Texas, on March 25-26. The competition will be held at Riverhill Country Club, a par 72 course spanning 7,137 yards. This three-round event will see rounds one and two taking place on the first day, followed by round three on the second day.

In their last outing at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, Western Illinois finished in 12th place. Luke Lofgren led the team with a T25 finish and achieved his best performance in round three, shooting four birdies for a total score of 215 (+2). Additionally, Nathan Tillman is expected to perform well following his top-15 finish at the ASU Spring Classic.

The lineup for Western Illinois includes Luke Lofgren, Mateo Rascon, Baptiste Labeyrie, David Ayala, Nathan Tillman, and Bayden Hubacher.

The Big Texan tournament will feature teams such as UTRGV, Texas A&M-Commerce, Southeastern Louisiana, Abilene Christian, Houston Christian, New Orleans, Stephen F. Austin, Tarleton State, Weber State, Seton Hall, Incarnate Word, Midland College, Ranger College and New Mexico JC.
