The Western Illinois University Men's Golf Team has announced the addition of Adam Murphy to its 2026 roster following National Signing Day.

Murphy, who is from Gidea Park, Essex, previously competed for the Campion School Hornchurch and completed his A Levels as a senior. During his time there, he earned the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award as a freshman. On the golf course, Murphy won the County Scratch Junior Final and was twice runner-up in the County Scratch Men's Final.

Murphy cited his relationship with Coach Zimmerman as a key factor in his decision to join Western Illinois. "I believe the coaching, support, and development environment at WIU will help me grow both as an athlete and as a person," Murphy said.
