The majority of students in Greene County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 1,712 students attending Greene County district schools, 95.5% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 1.8% of Greene County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Greene County districts, representing 95.9% of the student body.
