The majority of students in Schuyler County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 927 students attending Schuyler County district schools, 88.8% were white. African American students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 4.1% of Schuyler County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Schuyler County's school district, representing 89.5% of the student body.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public school district in the county dropped 2% when compared to the previous year.

There is only one school district within Schuyler County, with its head office located in Rushville.
