Memorial Hospital’s Melissa Brewer earns certification as emergency nurse practitioner

Melissa Brewer, a provider at Memorial Hospital, has earned her Post-Doctorate Certificate as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP). This credential allows her to offer enhanced emergency care to patients of all ages.

Brewer completed the certificate program at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. The curriculum is designed for board-certified Family Nurse Practitioners and focuses on emergency care skills for pediatric to geriatric patients.

The program builds on prior education and experience, providing advanced training in assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and urgent health conditions. Brewer gained specialized clinical expertise through this process.

She continues to work in the Memorial Hospital Emergency Department and at Convenient Care within Memorial Medical Clinic Carthage. More information about Brewer can be found at MHTLC.ORG.
