On Friday, February 23, former Saugus High School standout Bella Alvarez’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I game against the Murray State Racers.

The game took place in Murray, Kentucky. This was their first matchup against the Murray State Racers this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 9 a.m. in Murray, Kentucky against Toledo Rockets.
